Craig Miller, founder.
Sonnet Capital is one of two ways Craig works with legal technology and growth-stage businesses. The other is Sonnet Advisors.
Background
Craig Miller has 25 years in technology and growth, including 15+ years leading digital transformation for Microsoft Consulting across Western Europe. He has board, M&A, and angel-investment experience, and holds a Harvard MBA and an engineering degree from McGill.
Two hats, one operator
Sonnet Advisors is fee-for-service: strategy, scaling, exit preparation, and AI/automation work for growth-stage founders and law firms — Craig gets paid for time and expertise. Sonnet Capital is capital-for-equity: Craig takes a financial or board stake in legal technology companies, pairing capital with the same operating involvement Sonnet Advisors clients get on a fee basis.
The two are deliberately kept separate on paper, and deliberately connected in practice — a Sonnet Capital portfolio company that needs deeper hands-on delivery work is a natural fit for Sonnet Advisors ↗.
Two entities, one strategy.
Sonnet Capital operates through two entities, both wholly owned by Craig personally. Which one a given investment sits in depends on the company and the jurisdiction involved — the strategy behind both is the same.
Both entities are personally owned by founder Craig Miller.
